Confero announced that that the firm recently provided telephone mystery shopping research for the 2019 annual Stockbrokers.com Online Broker Review.     The research included gathering of 4,544 data points in nine different areas, which were used to provide ratings for the online brokerage companies.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 18.  Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A. and several other countries are expected to attend.   The event will be broadcast on Livestream and the pre-show from the red carpet will be streamed on the Stevie Awards’ Facebook feed.

Confero earned the finalist distinction in the Company of the Year (Business Services companies with 10 or more employees).

Confero received information today on a LinkedIn scam regarding someone using the name of John Gordon, who claims to work for Confero. The fraudster’s email was sent through LinkedIn, and uses a contact email of john@conferoinc.net.  The person falsely claims to be an employee of Confero and his email attempts to recruit secret shoppers.

We have no employee named John Gordon, and our email addresses are conferoinc.com, not conferoinc.net.    The scam asks for the person to reply by email in regard to secret shopping opportunities.  Do not fall for this scam!  WE DO NOT HAVE AN EMPLOYEE OR WORK WITH A CONTRACTOR NAMED JOHN GORDON!
